About the event
Create a one-of-a-kind naturally dyed silk scarf using botanicals  from your home or the farm! Jasmine Lace of Howl at the Loom will lead  you through using leaves, flowers, and metal to create beautiful prints  on fabric. Workshop includes all instructions and supplies necessary to  utilize this technique. Students will explore multiple methods of  transferring botanical prints to fabric and receive and take home an  informational handout, one silk scarf to dye, and a cotton swatch for  experimenting.
Suggested supplies to bring: Gloves, an apron, scissors, and a plastic bag or two to take your dyed goods home in. Participants should dress for mess!
Pre-registration is strongly suggested. This class has a minimum and  maximum attendance requirement so reserve your spot today! If  participant minimum is not met two weeks prior, the workshop will be cancelled.
